Application
Sealing & Gasketing. IAS57 Instant Pipe Sealant with Teflon lubricates parts during assembly. The cure system allows for realignment of parts up to 24 hours from application. This product can be used on most hydraulic, pneumatic, oil, water and gas connections

Useful Hint
Ensure parts are clean, dry and free from oil and grease.

Procedure for Application
Product is normally hand applied from the tube or brushed directly onto threaded parts. Primers such as IA471 (Standard Anaerobic Activator) can be used. However up to 20% strength loss can occur when using accelerators.

Cured Performance
Full Cure Time: 24 hours @ 20 degrees C. Shear Strength: 10000 psi

Tech Features
Resin: Dimethacrylate. Colour: White. Fixture Speed w/Activator: <10mins. Fixture Speed w/out Activator: 4 hour. Viscosity: 300,000 - 400,000cps. Gap Fill: 0.254mm. Shelf Life: 12 months @ 20 degrees C
